Harley-Davidson CV Carburetor, Early Type, L1989-91 (OEM #27035-90A). Early CV assembly, generally used from late 1989-91. Specifically, the body and bowl on this assembly is different when compared to the 1992 and later versions. So body and bowl components do not interchange between early and late styles. That means this assembly uses the early float with its barrel-like features.

And there were other minor differences, compared to the later assembly, such as a slightly different cap and upper screw set. In fact, the bowl assembly is particularly clean, as is the upper piston and diaphragm. So if this assembly was used, it was very briefly.

The plastic tip of the fuel inlet has cracked off. We always recommend updating with the OEM solid brass elbow. Otherwise, a very nice assembly. And although it's a very clean assembly, we still recommend a rebuild kit. Or at least a disassembly and inspection, prior to use.
