Harley Knucklehead Carburetor M-35P Original Linkert 1947 Police Correct 1 Year

Here we have an Original Harley Davidson 1947 Knucklehead Police Linkert M-35P Carburetor up for sale. This is the 1 1/2 Mod M 2-388.

Harley had this Carburetor Designed for 1947 Knucklehead Police Models and is a 1 Year Only. This is a used Carburetor of coarse so I took as many pics as I could so you can see the overall condition, (see pics). I see some Great Patina with some dust, grime, wear marks, etc, (see pics).

I see one of the inner air cleaner bolts is broke off and should be removed, (see pics). This carburetor is just how I received it and I`m sure it may need to be rebuilt, (see pics). The threads look good to me, and the jets turn as they should. I opened the bowl and seen a float assembly inside. I did not see a bowl gasket.
